Announcement from City of Riverside Parks & Recreation:

Now recruiting Rookie Ball participants!  This Major League Baseball program, sponsored by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, teaches youth ages 4-12 years the fundamentals of baseball.

The league runs July 10 through August 9, 2012.

Games will be held during the week at Reid Park, located at 701 North Orange Street, near Columbia Avenue, in Riverside.

Practices will be held at the park site where registered.

Space is limited, register at your local community center today!

Divisions include:

• Pee Wee: Ages 4-5 (can’t turn 6 during season)
• Junior: Ages 6-7 (can’t turn 8 during season)
• Minor: Ages 8-9 (Can’t turn 10 during season)
• Major: Ages 10-12 (can’t turn 13 during season)

Birth certificate and resident verification is required at the time of registration.

Registration fees are $18 for Riverside residents and $36 for non-residents.  Registration fees include a T-shirt and cap.
