The Perris Police Department conducted a DUI Saturation Patrol on Friday, April 27th, as part of city of Perris’ commitment to public safety. This DUI saturation patrol was one of many that have been or will be conducted throughout the year in the city of Perris.
The goal of the DUI saturation patrol was removing impaired drivers and to bring awareness to the public of the dangers of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
- 28 vehicles were stopped
- 11 Citations issued
- 5 Vehicles towed
- 2 Field sobriety tests conducted
- 2 arrests
The DUI saturation patrol was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
