The Riverside County Coroner’s office has reported that a partially decomposed body was found inside a parked car mid-day on Wednesday in a parking lot in the 3900 block of La Sierra Avenue in Riverside, near Von’s grocery store about 1 block west of Magnolia Avenue.

The 44-year-old Canyon Lake woman was discovered at around 12:30 p.m on May 9th.

Her identity has not been released pending positive identification.

There were no signs of foul play, and it is unknown how long the body had been there.

The investigation is ongoing.  Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner Bureau at 951-443-2300.
