marrywadding.jpgMary McNeel Wadding born: March 10, 1931, Burlington, Wisconsin, entered eternal life: May 21, 2012, Riverside, California.

Mary spent her childhood and young adult years in Wisconsin creating friendships that lasted a lifetime. She will always be known as a consummate Green Bay Packer fan. Mary moved to Riverside to take a teaching position with RUSD.

She soon found the loves of her life, Richard and Riverside. Mary’s passions included her family, her faith, her friends, an enthusiastic love of life and her commitment to her community. Over the years, Mary was involved in Girl Scouts, Assistance League, Riverside Panhellenic Association, Friends of the Mission Inn and the Riverside Optimist Club. Mary and Dick were married for 47 years.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Richard and her brother Arthur E. Hrobsky.

Mary is survived by her daughters: Mary Beth Wadding (Margie Haupt), Kathleen Whisman (John), Amy McLeod (Mark) and Eileen Labelle (Mike) and grandchildren: Madison, Laird, Murdoch, Cassidy, Quinn, Hannah, Gabrielle and Jessica.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the RCCD - Richard S. Wadding and Mary M. Wadding Memorial Endowed Nursing Scholarship, 4800 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92506-9982 A special thank you to Jenni from Companion Hospice, for her compassionate care. Memorial Mass will be held on June 1 at 2 p.m. at St. Francis de Sales in Riverside. Burial will be private. Preston and Simons Mortuary, Funeral Directors (951) 683-7410.
