Family reports elderly man with medical conditions missing in Moreno Valley

2012-05-02-mvs12-0502-mauricette.jpgAt around 12:25 a.m. on May 2, officers from the Moreno Valley Police Department investigated a report of a missing person from the 26000 block of Kalmia Avenue, near Lasalle Street, north of the 60 freeway in Moreno Valley.

Ronald Mauricette (pictured), age 77, was last seen at his residence by family members at around 12:05 a.m.

Mr. Mauricette left the residence on foot and the family has not seen or heard from him since.  Family members reported that he suffers from Alzheimer’s, high blood pressure, and is pre-diabetic.  Mr. Mauricette is dependent on medication for his medical conditions.

The family has reported a history where Mr. Mauricette has walked away from his home for days at a time.

Mr. Mauricette is described as a white male with a dark complexion, 5′11″, 140 lbs, with recently dyed black hair and a moustache.  He has brown eyes and wears prescription glasses.  He was last seen wearing a red track suit (top and bottom) with white stripes down both sides of the clothing.
