Burglary arrest made after stolen property pawned in San Jacinto

News headline from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

On April 20th, an officer from the San Jacinto Police Department responded to 1800 block of Rue Chenin Blanc regarding a past residential burglary.  During the investigation, it was learned that numerous items were stolen from the residence.  Some of the stolen property was reportedly pawned in local pawn shops, revealing the possible identity of a suspect in the burglary.

At around 11:30 a.m. on May 2nd, an officer from the San Jacinto Police Department responded to a call regarding a suspicious male and female on Santa Fe Avenue and Fifth Street in San Jacinto.

During that investigation, the officer recognized the man, Russel Lewis Barth II, 37, of San Jacinto, as a person who reportedly pawned the stolen items from the residential burglary.  Barth was interviewed and later taken into custody for the burglary.

Barth’s girlfriend, Isabel Anzures, 38, of San Jacinto, was arrested for a felony drug warrant.

Both suspects were transported and booked into Larry Smith Correctional Facility.  Barth was booked for residential burglary, and Anzures was booked on an outstanding felony warrant for possession of methamphetamine.
