Spring rain and snow in the Inland Empire

An unusual Spring storm is expected to bring a significant amount of rain and snow to Southern California.

In the San Bernardino Mountains it could deliver several inches of fresh snow.  It has been an unusual season for the mountain resorts.  They enjoyed an early start to winter, with snow one day before Halloween, followed by a relatively dry winter.

Whatever snow that falls is expected to melt quickly as warmer temperatures are in the forecast.

On Thursday people enjoyed the snow the remained at Snow Valley, which is a popular spot midway between the base of the mountain and the resorts at Big Bear.
