San Jacinto man arrested after forcing his way into friend’s house for gas money

2012-04-23-hem12-0416-1-garyleegrammer201216131.jpgOn April 16th at around 8:20 a.m., San Jacinto Police officers responded to the 300 block of North State Street in San Jacinto regarding a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.

The suspect, identified as Gary Lee Grammer (pictured right), 50, had forced his way into an acquaintance’s residence and asked for gas money.  As the victim pushed Grammer out of his home, Grammer armed himself with a walking stick and struck the victim with it.  Grammer then left the location.

Deputies later located Grammer at his residence, where he taken into custody for burglary, attempted robbery, and assault with a deadly weapon.  He was later booked into the Smith Correctional Facility.
