Police have arrested a second suspect in the armed robbery of an elderly woman in Norco

2012-04-23-jvs12-0404-cooley.jpgDeputies have arrested a second suspect in an armed robbery of a 77-year-old woman in Norco on April 4.  The robbery occurred at around 11:00 a.m. in a parking lot near Hamner Avenue and Hidden Valley Parkway.

One suspect was arrested that day, and deputies assigned to the Norco Community Oriented Policing Team continued to actively seek information concerning an accomplice in this robbery that fled from the scene.

Through an extensive investigation, deputies determined a possible location of the robbery accomplice.

The deputies served a search warrant at a residence in the 2800 block of Moorgate Place in Riverside and apprehended the accomplice, identified as Denzel Cooley (pictured above right), 20, of Riverside.  He was arrested for robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery and booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center.

2012-04-04-jvs12-0404-jamalldivioneross201214203.jpgThe other suspect, Jamall Divione Ross (pictured below right), 20, of Desert Hot Springs, was captured shortly after the incident and arrested for strong armed robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, felony battery and elder abuse.
