The Fox Performing Arts Center in downtown Riverside presents a night of legendary blues rockers on Thursday, April 12.

A spectacular blues event featuring Kenny Wayne Shepherd, The Robert Cray Band, and homegrown Riverside band Rod Piazza and The Mighty Flyers.

This is one performance no blues fan will want to miss! Kenny Wayne Shepherd rocked the house when he appeared at the Fox with blues legend B.B. King. One of the new generation of blues guitarists, Kenny Wayne Shepherd’s albums consistently top the blues charts as he continues to prove his stature as one of the great blues guitarists of our time.

The Robert Cray Band are four of today’s most brilliant musicians, headed by the incomparable Robert Cray, deliver their own eclectic mix of blues, rock and genre-defying music. As ever with Robert Cray’s undefinable sound, their music remains stubbornly beyond category. Cray is internationally admired as a stylist whose innovations have brought new life to the blues.

Rod Piazza and The Mighty Flyers, winner of multiple W. C. Handy Awards over the years, form one of the best and most distinctive bands in blues today; fresh, swinging, tasteful, exciting and creative.
