Four suspects arrested in Hemet, two of them juveniles, for burglary and child endangerment

News headline from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

Shortly before 10:00 a.m. on April 19th, Hemet Sheriff’s deputies received several reports of a burglary-in-progress in the 26000 block of San Jacinto Street in Hemet.  Deputies responded to the area and conducted a search for the suspects.

With the aid of numerous eye witnesses, deputies located the four suspects hiding in a nearby residence.  A search of the residence was conducted and numerous items of stolen property were recovered and returned to the burglary victims.

During the investigation, deputies learned that a 7-year-old child was brought along by the suspects and accompanied them during the commission of the crime.

Donta Ford, 20, and Edward Darby, 23, both residents of Hemet were arrested for burglary and child endangerment.

Two juveniles were also arrested for burglary and child endangerment.
