Redlands woman crashes into Rite Aid in Loma Linda after hitting accelerator instead of brake

A woman crashed her car into a parked car and a block wall at Rite Aid in Loma Linda after she hit the accelerator instead of the brake.

At around 4:00 p.m. on March 22, Carolyn Schultz, 63, of Redlands,was attempting to park her car in the Rite Aid parking lot, located at 25710 Barton Road in Loma Linda.

Schultz hit the accelerator instead of the brake and collided with a parked car before continuing into the block wall of the business.

Schultz’s vehicle sustained major damage.  She was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.

The parked car and the business received only minor damages.
