Spring cleaning: save gas and double-dip donations to help Goodwill and Riverside schools & clubs

2012-02-28-goodwill-timthumb.jpgJust in time for spring cleaning, several Riverside area organizations are partnering with Goodwill for fundraising donation drives.

The way it works is that Goodwill delivers a donation trailer to the host organization’s site on the scheduled date so people can drop off their items to donate without having to drive to an actual Goodwill donation center.

Goodwill then shares the donations by paying the host organization according to the volume of items collected during the event.

2012-02-28-imagescap9szfw.jpgDonation drives scheduled for the month of March in Riverside are:

  • March 3 - La Sierra High School Cheer Boosters, 4145 La Sierra Avenue - 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
