Sony believes the Playstation Vita has the potential to transform the mobile gaming market, but with many consumers already playing games on their mobiles and tablets there are questions over the future of dedicated portable gaming devices.

The PS Vita is outfitted with a camera, social networking features, and higher resolution.

Users are able to put themselves in the picture, literally, through augmented reality, where you take a picture of yourself and embed it into the game. Players are now able to face off against their real-world friends in a digitally enhanced real world.
