A 19-year-old man jumped to his death from a freeway overpass in Riverside on Thursday afternoon.

Shortly before 3:30 p.m. on February 23,  Desean Powell, 19, of Riverside reportedly jumped from the Alessandro Avenue overpass onto the I-215 freeway near Moreno Valley.

He was transported the Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley, where he died from his injuries a short time later.
