Oscar’s ball gets menu makeover

Celebrity Chef Wolfgang Puck shows off the food and talks about the menu he has planned for the annual Governors Ball.

Instead of a sit-down affair, this years Governors Ball will be more of a lounge-like experience, with soft chairs and big comfy sofas where about 1,500 guests are expected to mingle after the awards show.

The menu is said to include over 50 dishes, including mini Kobe burgers, smoked salmon Oscars, potatoes with caviar, Chinois lamb chops, braised short ribs, crab and lobster Louis salad, and crispy spinach.

This is Puck’s 18th year as chef for the Governor’s Ball.

The 84th Annual Academy Awards will be broadcast on Sunday, February 26, from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.
