Attempted break-in in Norco stopped by resident who was at home at the time

News headline from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

Three young men were arrested on Tuesday after they reportedly tried to break into a house while the resident was at home.

At about 10:00 a.m. on February 20, deputies were dispatched after a report of a burglary in progress at a residence located in the 2800 block of Walking Horse Ranch Road in Norco.

The homeowner had called 911 from inside the house to report that three men were trying to break into his house.

When confronted by the homeowner, the intruders ran from the residence and fled in a late-model black sedan.

Within minutes, deputies found the vehicle attempting to merge onto the northbound on-ramp of Interstate 15 from Sixth Street in Norco.  The deputies stopped the vehicle and took the suspects into custody.

The three suspects, all residents of San Bernardino, were identified as Trevon Ford, 19 (below left); Edgar Enciso, 18 (below middle); and Anthony Andrade, also 18 (below right).

All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for attempted burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, and violation of probation.
