News headline from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:
A suspect who had eluded law enforcement for over 13 years, partly by using a false identity, was arrested in Jurupa on Wednesday.
In the early morning of February 22nd, members of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Fugitive Warrant Enforcement Team, as part of the U.S. Marshal sponsored Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force, successfully arrested Jesse Aguilar, 45 (pictured right), for an outstanding felony warrant for lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14, and lewd or lascivious acts with a child 14 or 15 years of age.
Aguilar had managed to elude law enforcement for over 13 years but was successfully apprehended near the 2900 block of Rubidoux Boulevard in Jurupa.
Fugitive warrant team investigators learned that Aguilar had assumed a false identity and possessed accompanying government identification.
Aguilar was booked in at the Robert Presley Detention Center.
