On Thursday, January 26 at approximately 10:20 p.m., the Riverside Police officers responded to a report of a man who appeared to be shot and bleeding at University Avenue and Kansas Avenue.

Patrol officers found the subject suffering from gunshot wounds and summoned the Riverside Fire Department for treatment.

The subject was taken to an area hospital where he died from his wounds.

Homicide Investigators responded and were assisted in their investigation by personnel from the Forensic Unit.

The victim has been identified as Gregory Paul Ball, 37, of Riverside.
