Two men wounded in suspicious shooting in San Jacinto; one arrested for parole violation

2012-01-17-hem12-0115-1-perezjuan.jpgOn January 16 at approximately 7:50 p.m., officers from the San Jacinto Police Department responded to a report of a shooting that occurred on the 600 block of Mistletoe Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found evidence that a residence had been hit by bullets.  They also found evidence that suggested a person was also hit by bullets outside the residence but had left the scene.

A few hours later, a local hospital notified the police that they had just received two subjects with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Police investigators responded to the hospital to interview both parties, but neither would cooperate.

One of them, Juan Perez (pictured right), 19, was arrested for violating the terms of his parole.  He was released from the hospital and transported to the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside.

The San Jacinto Police are asking anyone who has any information about this incident to contact the San Jacinto Police Department at 951-654-2702.
