On December 24, 2011, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to the 4000 block of Briggs Street in Jurupa Valley in response to a reported assault with a deadly weapon.
Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male victim who had sustained several non-life-threatening stab wounds.
The victim was treated at a local hospital and later released.
At the time of this incident, the only information Sheriffs had on the suspects is that they were three Hispanic male adults, 18-20 years old, driving a grey Toyota sedan.
During the extensive ongoing investigation, all three suspects were positively identified and apprehended.
On January, 11, 2012, Salvador Nicky Perez, 28, of Jurupa Valley (pictured top right), was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for assault with a deadly weapon.
On January 21, 2012, the last two suspects were arrested and booked into Robert Presley Detention Center.
Gerardo Rodrigo Vargas, 31, of Jurupa Valley (pictured middle right), was booked for assault with a deadly weapon and violation of parole.
Andrew Alexander Garcia, 18, of Jurupa Valley (pictured lower right), was booked for assault with a deadly weapon.
