The suspect identified in an October sexual assault has been arrested in San Bernardino County.
The victim reported that on October 23, 2011 at 11:00 p.m., a male friend identified as Anastasios Stefanidis, 26, of San Bernardino, abducted her from her residence and sexually assaulted her in his vehicle.
He reportedly kept her at an undisclosed location until October 29, 2011, when he returned her to her residence.
On November 23, 2011, at about 9:00 p.m., deputies from the Riverside Sheriff’s Department/Perris Station responded to a residence in Romoland regarding a past sexual assault.
Further investigation led Investigators to two additional adult victims of sexual assaults.
On January 13, 2012, Stefanidis was located in San Bernardino County and taken into custody. He was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for Kidnap for Rape and False Imprisonment.
