On Sunday, January 15 at around 1:00 p.m., officers from the San Jacinto Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call in the 1600 block of Arenas Lane in San Jacinto.

Responding officers heard loud yelling from inside the residence and determined that a domestic dispute was occurring between a man and a woman.

The investigation revealed that Abel Garcia, 41, of San Jacinto threatened and assaulted his spouse.   Garcia was also found in possession of illegal narcotics and he was in violation of his parole.

Garcia was arrested without incident.  He was booked into Larry smith Correctional Facility for Spousal Assault, Criminal Threats, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
