Roland Norman Arr 88, passed away January 10, 2012. He was born June 11, 1923 in Brookfield, MO and had lived in Hemet for the past 25 years.

He was retired from the U.S. Post Office and was a proud Veteran of the Korean War and World War II and was a member of both the American Legion and VFW. He was an avid reader and enjoyed music, art and staying in touch with family and friends via his computer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Willa, the love of his life for 63 years.

He is survived by his son Jim Arr; a granddaughter, Kelly of Murrieta; grandson Jim of Hemet and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 12:30pm at Riverside National Cemetery, staging area #6.
