Robert “Bob” Ralph Gentilin age 89, of Hemet, CA, for 24 years, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012, at Hemet Valley Medical Center. Bob was born October 19, 1922 in Oak Park, Illinois.
He was the son of the late Humberto Gentilin and the late Gertrude (Adolphs) Gentilin. Bob worked for Noritsu as corporate manager for 10 years. He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He also was a member of the Elks Lodge and American Legion Post #1740 in Idyllwild. Bob was a past member of the RACES Amateur Radio.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Barbara Gentilin; children Bruce Gentilin of Yorba Linda, CA; Kim Harper of Boston, MA; Glen Gentilin of Camino, CA; step children Jeff Weber & Tim Weber, both of Orange, CA; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory Hemet, 1501 W. Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA. Memorial service will be at Miller-Jones Hemet Mortuary at 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 12, 2012.
