Mary Katherine Wakefield passed away November 30, 2011 in her home at the age of 66 years. Born July 1945 in San Francisco, California to James and Marion Wilson.

Mary graduated from Star of The Sea in 1963 and then attended San Francisco College for Women and Sacramento State College. She married James Wakefield and they raised three children. She enjoyed reading, cooking, shopping, gardening and especially her grandchildren.

Mary Wakefield is survived by her loving children Mark, Douglas and Jennifer. Devoted Mimi of 6 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband James in 2005.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service: Friday, January 13, 2012 at 3:00 PM in Air Force Village, 17050 Arnold Dr., Riverside, CA 92518. Inurnment will be in Riverside National Cemetery.
