The collision involved two vehicles.

A young man, age 22, along with a female passenger, 21, were driving a 2007 Lexus sedan exiting the parking lot of 600 Central.  The vehicle pulled out of the driveway in an attempt to make a westbound turn onto Central.

The driver of the Lexus had to be extricated from the vehicle.  He was transported to Riverside County Regional Medical Center where he is in critical condition.

His female passenger was taken to Riverside Community Hospital, also in critical condition.

The driver of the Chrysler 300 was taken to Riverside Community Hospital where he is in stable condition.

The Riverside Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) responded to the scene and the collision is under investigation.  Anyone with any information is asked to contact Detective Rick Prince at (951) 826-8722
