Grace Lena Munoz-Powell age 76, passed away on January 3, 2012 at her residence in Beaumont, CA where she had been a resident for 25 years. She was born on August 6, 1935 in San Diego, CA.

She worked as a nurse’s Aide for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Dixon Powell; parents Charles and Lena Munoz and grandparents Jose and Clementine Calac.

She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Downard of San Bernardino; sons Robert Gonzalez of Banning and Mark Donaho of Beaumont; sister Virginia Munoz-Scott and brother-in-law Herbert P. Scott of San Diego; grandchildren Britney, Mark, Michael, Mathew and Aubrey; great-grandchild Faith; 5 nephews and 2 nieces.

Funeral: Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 5500 Mazzetti Lane, Valley Center, CA 92082 with burial following at Rincon Cemetery, Valley Center, CA. Arrangements entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, CA 951-845-1141.
