Eugene was a certified public accountant and worked for Younger Advisors, Inc., as a national tax expert. He provided complex tax consulting services to tax practitioners and tax attorneys nationwide.
He was also a contributing speaker at tax conventions, covering new tax code regulations and/or the interpretation and application of complex tax issues. Eugene was fortunate to have traveled the world while growing up due to the military career of his late father, Harold W. Younger, in the U.S. Air Force.
He lived in Japan, France, and a few other U.S. cities. He was a very devoted family-oriented man with deep moral character and an unyielding compassion for rescuing and adopting displaced dogs. His pride and joy was his stepdaughter Riley.
Eugene shared with those he knew well how highly he thought of Riley as well as her many achievements. He was his family’s pillar of stability due to his financial wizardry and guidance.
His kindness, sweet and gentle nature, and willingness to help others were limitless. His quick wit was a trademark known to all who were fortunate to have known him. In the last months of Eugene’s life, he was surrounded by devoted family members who loved and cared for him very much.
Eugene is survived by his stepdaughter, Riley Disenhouse of Riverside; mother, Masako (Peggy) Younger of Moreno Valley; sisters, Vivian Younger and Marian Younger of Riverside.
He is predeceased by his father Harold W. Younger.
Gene was a devoted pet lover and rescued many animals from the Riverside Humane Society; therefore, in lieu of flowers, your donation to the Mary Roberts Pet Adoption Center would be very much appreciated. Arlington Mortuary, Directors (800) 275-4648.
