On January 5, investigators from the San Jacinto Police Department began an investigation into allegations of child molestation.

Two juveniles reported they were sexually assaulted by the suspect, Carl Lester Evans, age 51.

According to the victims, Evans forced them to perform various sex acts with him on multiple occasions.  The victims were acquaintances of the suspect.

On Friday, January 13, investigators found Evans at his residence and arrested him.

Evans was booked into the Larry Smith Correctional Facility for several child molestation related charges.
