Celina Banowetz age 83, passed away on January 6, 2012 in Banning, CA where she had been a resident for 22 years; former resident of Anaheim, CA. She was born on May 31, 1928 in Rackham, Manitoba, Canada.

She worked as a hairdresser for 30 years.

Celina was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Banowetz and her sons, Dennis Banowetz and Glenn Lishman.

She is survived by her daughters Rose Deitz, Geralyn Olayan and Karen Evans; sons Rick Raffa, Greg Banowetz, Roger Banowetz and Terry Lishman; and sister Yvonne Thomson.

She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Rosary: Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 10:00AM with Mass following at 11:00AM, both at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, 1234 Palm Avenue, Beaumont, CA 92223. Inurnment will be at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA. Arrangements entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, CA 951-845-1141.
