On January 10th at about 12:30 p.m., San Jacinto Police responded to a traffic collision with injuries in the the 300 Block of Seventh Street in San Jacinto.

The investigation revealed the driver, Timothy Christopher Jones, 31, of San Jacinto, was driving his vehicle east on Seventh Street approaching Alessandro Avenue when he collided with a bicyclist who was riding in the roadway.

The bicyclist, who has not been identified, sustained a broken leg and other minor injuries and was transported to a Moreno Valley hospital.  The driver was not injured.

Jones was arrested for driving under the influence and was booked into Larry Smith Correctional Facility.
