Alma “Mikki” Shrive died on January 14, 2012. She was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on March 17, 1927.

Mikki lived in Redlands for many years with her husband, Vince Shrive (deceased in 2000); they moved to the Sun Lakes community in Banning, California in 1990.

Mikki is survived by her husband, Edward Sterger; her son Glenn Shrive and his wife Susan; her daughter Lori Vereker; her grandchildren, Matt and Kevin Shrive and Dustin and Courtney Vereker and her great-grandson, Levi Vereker.

Mikki was a friend to all who knew her and loved by many.

Memorial service: 10:30AM, Friday, January 20, 2012 at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, California. A celebration of her life will follow at the ballroom in the Main Clubhouse at Sun Lakes. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be make to Redlands Community Hospital Hospice, 350 Terracina Blvd., Redlands, California 92373.
