almaday2.jpgAlma Lee Day, 81 of Hemet, California passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at home. Born July 26, 1930 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Alma was second youngest of 10 children. Alma was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was involved with the spirituality and bereavement groups. In the earlier years Alma volunteered with the Hemet Hospice and later at Sun City Hospice.

Alma was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She lived for her family and enjoyed having them all together.

Survivors include her sister Nettie Beckham of Philadelphia; Sons, Francis Joseph MacIntosh, Stephen Thomas MacIntosh; Daughters, Cynthia Anne Crompton and Kathleen Marie MacIntosh; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death are her husband John Patrick Day, and son, David Charles MacIntosh.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Miller-Jones Mortuary. Services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 8:30am at Miller-Jones Mortuary, Hemet 1501 W. Florida, Hemet, CA. Interment will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA. Graveside services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery at 10:31am at staging area 6.
