California considers ban on stocking fish in lakes

California Department of Fish and Game officials are considering a ban on stocking fish in lakes, or having owners of private lakes to pay for expensive environmental reviews. Anglers at private lakes aren’t required to have a fishing license, but that may change, too. Places like the privately owned Corona Lake bring fish in as often as twice a week to keep fishermen happy.
