Despite budget restraints, Riverside’s annual July 4 fireworks display will go on as scheduled this year.

The display is slated to begin at 9:00 p.m. on the 4th of July, which this year falls on a Monday. The display is visible from downtown Riverside and miles around.

The City of Riverside Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department invites you to celebrate
Independence Day at one of two aerial fireworks shows scheduled on Monday, July 4, 2011.

Fireworks shows will be held at Frank A. Miller Mt. Rubidoux Park located at 4706 Mt. Rubidoux St. and
La Sierra Park located at 5215 La Sierra Ave.  Shows begin promptly at 9 p.m.
