Magnolia Avenue will be shut on April 28 from 4:00 a.m. till 8:00 a.m.

If you noticed extra traffic on Magnolia Avenue, don’t be alarmed. Union Pacific is preparing the railroad tracks for the grade separation at Magnolia Avenue and Merrill Avenue.

On Wednesday afternoon Union Pacific workers were seen installing the main railroad number one back to its original alignment– so there would be two railroad tracks again.

Union Pacific also will be welding on the overpass they created at the Magnolia Avenue crossing tomorrow morning, according to the company.

Magnolia Avenue on Thursday, April 28, from 4:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m., as workers complete the welding.
