Notice inviting sealed bids for fire hazard abatement Rubidoux Community Services District Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals or bids for the abatement of weeds, vegetation and/or other combustibles on certain properties as specified by Ordinance 40 within the Rubidoux Community Services District on a contract basis will be accepted by the Rubidoux Community Services District Board of Directors.

Specifications and bid form packages are available at the District office for a fee of $5.00 per package. Said proposals or bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to “Rubidoux Community Services District, P.O. Box 3098, Rubidoux, CA 92519″, or be delivered to the District office, at 3590 Rubidoux Blvd., Rubidoux, CA 92509 and endorsed “Proposal for Fire Hazard Abatement in the Rubidoux Community Services District”. Bids are to be received at the District Office by 2:00 P.M., March 21, 2011, and opened and examined by the District Staff at 2:01 P.M., March 21, 2011.

Bidders are welcome to be present for the opening and examining of the proposals. On April 7, 2011 at 4:00 P.M., at the Staff Board Room, 3590 Rubidoux Boulevard, Rubidoux, California, the District will present a recommendation for award of contract to the Board of Directors of the Rubidoux Community Services District. The Rubidoux Community Services District reserves the privilege of rejecting and and all bids, to waive any insignificant irregularities in any bid or in the bidding.
