California Riverside Ballet to debut Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker” at the Fox

It’s nearly showtime for the California Riverside Ballet. The group held open auditions at the Fox Performing Arts Center, in September, for its 41st annual performance of Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker,” now it’s crunch time.

This weekend the curtain will rise on a CRB’s first performance at the newly renovated Fox Performing Arts Center.

The Nutcracker performances are at the Fox Performing Arts Center December 11, at 1:00 p.m.; December 11, at 7:00 p.m. and December 12, at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are priced between $42.50 to $32.70, according to Ticketmaster. You can also purchase tickets at the Fox box office in downtown Riverside.

“I’m pleased to see this classic moving into the Fox Performing Arts Center,” said Ward 1 Council Member Mike Gardner.

Guest artistic director, Mario Nugara, is handling the direction of the performance.
