We hope it will become a long-running tradition. For the second year, the Riverside Downtown Partnership, and InstantRiverside.com, are presenting a way for Riversiders to participate in the window decorating contest in downtown Riverside.
Nine downtown storefronts have decorated their businesses in a friendly competition that results in a winner who is announced just as the Festival of Lights begins in downtown Riverside.

The Riverside Downtown Partnership scores the windows with a team of judges– they view the windows in person.
InstantRiverside.com has produced individual stories on the businesses and the windows, and if you like what you see, you can vote online, “instantly,” between November 16 through November 23.
2009 was the first year the competition included online voting, and it resulted in thousands of votes, and for the first time scores from the judges were combined with scores from the public.
We hope you have a chance to visit the businesses in person during this special time of year, and cast your votes online.
