On Thursday, August 12, the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office charged Derik Garcia, of Lancaster, with three counts of armed robbery following an extensive investigation of a string of armed robberies in Grand Terrace.

In August and December of 2009, and April of 2010, three armed robberies were caught on surveillance camera at the Smart Tyme Liquor Store in Grand Terrace. Garcia was identified as the suspect who committed those robberies after he committed another robbery in Highland.

On August 12, Garcia was at last charged for the three Grand Terrace incidents.
