News headline from the Riverside Police Department:

On August 31, at approximately 10:30 a.m., police received a call of a bank robbery that just occurred at 3692 Sunnyside Street, Silvergate Bank, in Riverside. Officers discovered the suspects had already fled from the immediate area in a red four door compact vehicle.

The suspects entered the bank through the front door and approached the workstation of a bank employee. The suspects, one armed with a shotgun, demanded money and handed the teller a tan recyclable-style bag with green lettering. The suspects received an undetermined amount of currency from the bank employee and exited the bank through the front doors.

The Riverside Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying these suspects. Video of the suspects entering the bank can be viewed on the right of this screen.
