Men arrested for stealing Nike shoes at Lake Elsinore Outlet Center

On Friday, August 20, at approximately 12:00 p.m., a commercial burglary occurred at the Nike Factory Store located at the Lake Elsinore Outlet Center.

The suspects entered the Nike Factory Store and selected two pair of shoes after trying them on. One of the suspects ran out of the store with merchandise and was followed by the second suspect.  The suspects were seen entering a white Dodge Stratus and fleeing the parking lot.

Officers assigned to the Burglary Suppression Team heard the broadcast and began to search for the suspects. They located the suspect vehicle traveling eastbound on Hwy 74 and conducted a traffic stop near Ellis Avenue.

Henry Robertson, 22, and Andrew Holloway, 26, both of Moreno Valley were detained. The stolen Nike merchandise was located inside the suspect vehicle and later returned to the store.

Robertson and Holloway were arrested and transported to the Lake Elsinore Police Department where they were interviewed. They were later transported and booked at the Southwest Detention Center for commercial burglary, theft with priors and probation violations.

The investigation is continuing and the Lake Elsinore Police Department is asking the public for information regarding this case to contact the Burglary Suppression Team at (951) 245-3300.
