Dr. Laura Schlessinger speaks with InstantRiverside.com about her move to the internet

Without being specific, Dr. Laura Schlessinger made it clear that she’s on the move– to the internet. After being caught in an uncomfortable exchange with a caller earlier this month, Schlessinger has decided not to renew her contract to continue her nationally-syndicated program, which will expire at the end of the year.

Dr. Laura told InstantRiverside.com that she feels “energized,” and that she’s eager for the road ahead. “I’m going to be stronger and freer to say my mind,” said Schlessinger.

After Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Laura Schlessinger hosts the most-popular radio program in the country. Much of her early success came from the Inland Empire, where radio listeners first heard her on KFI-AM, and her show dominated local ratings.

She will continue to write books, do speaking tours, and in 2011 she’s expected to become a dominate force on the internet.
