The Perris Raceway will hold its grand reopening at Perris Raceway on August 21. The motorcycle track opened in 1957, and evolved into a motocross track. The location was operated by Donna Edwards from 1999-2007. “In 2003 we decided to put in a flat track because that is the type of racing that we loved,” said Donna Edwards.

The track draws competitors from 5 to 78 years, according to Edwards. “For several years we broke rocks and filled in holes and created what is now Southern California Flat Track,” says Edwards.
