On Saturday, August 28, at around 5:45 p.m., a few hundred people joined the California Riverside Ballet as they performed Michael Jackson’s famous “Thriller” dance.
The free event happened in front of the Riverside County Courthouse on Main Street.
Additional events, such as a Michael Jackson costume contest and guest appearances by Jackson dancers, happened before the event.
Many people appeared in costume– as zombies, or simply wearing a Jackson T-shirt, others watched as California Riverside Ballet worked to set a California record.
