Investigators announced that human remains found this week are that of Norma Lopez, 17, missing from Moreno Valley.

The teenager was seen last Thursday leaving a class at Valley View High School, where she was attending summer school.

The Riverside County Coroner made the confirmation using dental records.  The body was located at Theodore Street and Dracaea Avenue.

A grim vigil was held in Moreno Valley last night, in the area where the body was found, which is near Lopez’s home.
