Perris news headline from the Riverside Sheriff’s Department:
In January 2010, a joint major narcotics investigation was conducted by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department- Southwest Corridor Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Riverside Office. During the investigation numerous subjects were identified being involved in the major trafficking of heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine within the Riverside County region and onto other areas of the United States.
On June 9, several search warrants and arrest warrants were served in Perris, Lake Elsinore, and Menifee. Ten suspects were arrested and investigators seized 9 pounds of Methamphetamine, 8 pounds of Heroin, 29 pounds of Cocaine, 10 firearms, and 10 vehicles with hidden compartments. The investigation also resulted in thirteen children being removed from homes where they were endangered by the drug activity.
The following suspects were arrested and booked at the Southwest Detention Center:
Mario Landeros, 51, of Perris; Lorena Villarreal, 34, of Perris; Jesus Beltran, 25, of Lake Elsinore, Stanley Adam, 50, of Lake Elsinore; Arturo Flores, 27, of Menifee; Chris Entzminger, 30, of Lake Elsinore; Brenda Partida, 26, of Lake Elsinore, Dora Nieves, 51, of Lake Elsinore; Carlos Aguila, 33, of Lake Elsinore; and Mariela Montoya-Esquer, 23 of Menifee .
Additional arrests are anticipated in relation to this investigation.
