On Ramon Road, towards Cathedral City, there’s a little known memorial.

It’s a cemetery; the resting place of Frank Sinatra, Sonny Bono as well as the Mother and Sister of Zsa Zsa Gabor, Busby Berkeley and “My Fair Lady” composer Frederick Loewe.

It’s also home to the only Gay Veterans Memorial in the United States.

The site is peaceful and simple. All of the graves have a simple plaque, rather than flashy Hollywood-type headstones. Sinatra’s is usually marked with a small American flag and a few flowers.

The Gay Veterans Memorial sits among other memorials seen in this video report.
