Scott Arthur Miller born March 24, 1958 Age 52, went home to be with our Lord and Savior at Loma Linda University Medical center May 23, 2010, after battling esophageal cancer and end stage renal disease.

Scott was a lifetime resident of Hemet.

He is survived by his parents, Howard and Marcella Miller; 3 brothers, Tim, Kevin, Kurt (Sheela) Miller; 3 daughters, Susan (Charlie) Overturf, Lindsey and Laura Miller; 4 granddaughters, Emily, Kellie, Allyson, Shellby; former wife and long time friend, Tia Miller-Clark, and fiancé Jill Walker and her children, Joshua and Lindsey.

Scott worked at Genesis Construction for 21 years. He enjoyed playing year round softball, jeeping, beach trips and traveling.

There will be a visitation and viewing June 1st from 8-10am at Inland Memorial Harford Chapel, 120 N. Buena Vista St., Hemet, CA. Private burial to follow at San Jacinto Valley Mortuary, and memorial services at 12 noon at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 26410 Columbia St., Hemet, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society , American Kidney Foundation or St. John’s Lutheran Church.
